There are two ways to get in on the action:

• Pick a Coach: Vote for the "Market Madness Coach" you believe has the best team to win it all.
• Build Your Ultimate Team: Draft your own "Core Five" roster and compete to beat the official tournament champion.

• March 5: Live Draft Night. Watch the coaches build their squads in real-time.
• March 16: Tip-Off. Market Madness goes live.
• March 23: The Elite 6
• March 30: Championship Week
• April 6: Trophy Ceremony

Unlike the 'Pick Your Coach' challenge, building your own team allows you to combine any 5 combinations. When building Your Ultimate Team, you'll be managing a $1M virtual portfolio. To ensure fairness, you are limited to only one of the Magnificent 7 (Mag7) companies.

We move from the full bracket down to the Elite 6, then to the Final 3 with the Trophy Ceremony live on April 6.

We are putting up to $2M in total value on the line. Signing up as a group doubles your prize pool if you win.

Market Madness is the premier financial crossover event of the 2026 March Madness season, hosted by Trade The Pool. While the traditional NCAA tournament bracket is epic, Market Madness expands the game to the global stock market.

Instead of just betting on games at the Xfinity Mobile Arena or Lucas Oil Stadium, participants enter a free bracket challenge with prizes where they "scout" stocks like they do athletes. You'll draft a "Starting 5" portfolio of high-volatility assets—ranging from Mag 7 tech giants to mid-cap "Cinderella" stocks, and compete for a prize pool of up to $2M.
